    Description

    This auction is for 7 4x6 photos of
    Pat Benatar
    taken by the seller at the Us Festival in 1982.  Due to the huge crowd of 200,000 people, it was one of the most difficult shooting experiences of my life.  This event was held in a huge forest clearing at Glen Helen Regional Park, and there was no reserved seating.  Estimates of the crowd that day were about 200,000 people.  So that meant the closer you got to the stage, the more packed together the crowd was.  Some of the other acts that day included Eddie Money, Santana, The Cars, the Kinks and Tom Petty.  Fighting the crowd, I got pictures of all these artists as well.  Pat Benatar came on right before Petty, who closed the show around midnight.
