G0858 8" x 76" Parallelogram Jointer with Helical Cutterhead
Upgrade to an 8" jointer with an improved finish.
The G0858 Parallelogram Jointer has a 4-row helical cutterhead with 36 indexable carbide inserts. Carbide inserts reduce tear-out and last an average of 10 times longer than traditional jointer knives.
Each insert can each be rotated up to three times to expose a new sharp edge for superior finish. Reducing the cut to the size of a single insert makes for a cleaner cut and reduces noise compared to the traditional straight knife cut.
With the parallelogram table setup, the four points of contact allow for easy adjustment of each table for perfect alignment. The 8" x 76" precision-ground cast-iron table is long enough to handle your longest stock hardwoods.
The arched table travel keeps each table close to the cutter and adds a degree of safety during operation. Setting cut depth is a breeze for traditional jointing or rabbeting with the infeed and outfeed adjustment levers.

replacement inserts are available when the stock inserts get dull.

How Will My Freight Be Delivered?
This item ships via truck freight. The trucking company will call you to arrange for curbside delivery. Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer. Truck drivers are not required to give assistance unloading, which means that you are responsible for unloading your freight and moving it to your shop. We estimate, but cannot guarantee, delivery in 3 to 5 business days. If tracking your order on the carrier’s website, ignore any estimated delivery dates as these are often incorrect.
What If I Need Help Unloading And Moving My Freight To My Shop? Do You Offer Any Extra Delivery Services?
Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer and you are still responsible for moving the freight from your curbside to your shop.
Some freight terminals are equipped to offer additional services - such as moving the freight into your shop or garage for you - on a limited basis for an additional charge. None of the carriers we work with will move freight up or down stairs. If you are interested in finding out whether the carrier can offer additional delivery services for your order, please send us a message and we will be happy to look into it for you. I Work Full Time And There Is No One Home To Receive My Freight Delivery. What Are My Options?
Freight is delivered on weekdays during normal business hours. Many customers find it more convenient to arrange to pick up at the carrier's terminal or to have their orders shipped to their work address or to a friend who can be home to accept delivery during the day. Since it is your responsibility to unload your freight from the truck and to inspect your freight to be sure you receive the right number of boxes in good condition, someone must be present at the time of delivery.
