Burmese Antique Tea Pot Elaborate Repousse Design Dragon Spout Dancer Handle

This was one of my favorite purchases from a trip in 2002. I bought the tea pot from an antique dealer in Mandalay.
Loved the Repousse dancers all around the body of the tea pot and on the handle.
They reminded me of some of the temple carvings that we had just seen in Angor (Cambodia). The spout and the top of the lid are dragons!
This was an expensive purchase, over 0,
but I never regretted buying it.
Now I am downsizing and just don’t have room for lots of wonderful things purchased on past trips.
I hope someone who enjoys Burma as much as I did will find an important place to display this tea pot.

Condition:
Not perfect, but very good.
Some of the silverplate is wearing away which you can seen in the pittures.
The lid is loose.
