    Dimensions: Length = 2 Ft 3 ins, height 1 ft 9 1/8 ins, Width = 3 ins.
    Wood thought to be teak and item is mounted on a pine base for decorative ornamental display. According to Nat Worship and Buddhist beliefs, the mythical dragon Naga are persecutors and protectors. Hong is a mythical bird of infinite grace, and an auspicious creature, that symbolizes miracles. Monkeys represent cleverness and the pig is a symbol of wealth. The monkey is also revered as a god in Hindu & Buddhist cultures and it's symbol is frequently used to protect temples. In Thailand the same carvings were used as adornments for roof pillars. The listed carving of Naga here is suitable for a discerning collector.
