    Rattanakosin Period c.1900
    A lovely cast brass fragmentary head portion of a Buddha sculpture, with a calm visage. His eyes are cast downwards under large lids and softly arched brows, and a slender nose and slightly smiling lips complete his tranquil expression. His ears are adorned with sizeable earrings that elongate his earlobes, and his head is covered by the flaming ushnisha headdress crown with frontal flanges.
    This is a common presentation of Buddha from the period.
    Overall height is just over 7”, including the 2 ¼” Tall wooden base
    (which is 2 1/8” square)

    Excellent Condition with no dings or scrapes
    Has a dark patina
