    I know there are a lot of fakes out there but this is the real deal - guaranteed !!!
    Now, a little background on this collection that I'm going to start selling off a piece at a time:
    I use live in Malaysia during the early 1980s as an area field service engineer for a regional seismic exploration company. I made frequent trips to Burma for work purposes and would usually get some time to prowl around any local junk/scrap shops in the area, particularly Yangon and
    Mandalay.
    If lucky, I would pick up a couple or so weights and bring them back home with me. This is one such weight acquired during that time period.
    This is a pretty heavy piece, weighs 313.3 grams, I believe this is a 20 TICAL size.
    Height is about 2-5/8 inches, 8-sided octagonal base.
    The last picture provided is a shot of the entire collection.
    I believe it was sometime in the 1880s w
    hen the British occupied Burma,
    that cast
    bronze weights ceased to be produced.
    Condition is excellent on this weight, l
