    Antique Late 19thC Burmese Solid Embross Handicraft Thabeik Myanmar 4 Tea set
    Excellent High-Value Souvenir     Collectible
    Myanmar Solid Silver Thabeik bowl, repousse' decorated in high relief depicting different traditional scenes from the Burmese mythology, showing detailed figures set against a chisel matted background in continuous landscape. The top chased with scrolling bands and base decorated with a thick band of betel leaves. The quality of the bowl is outstanding, heavy gauge and very crisp. The Burmese friend of my parent asked for our family to keep them as highly value paid as highly collectible at home so long time ago. The base is not marked with a makers marks, but judging by the quality it was undoubtedly made by a great silversmith, tested 900+ grade silver.
