    Antique Hand hammered Burmese Solid Brass Suspended Gong, Approximately 1 foot x 3 inches. This gong, because of its largely flat surface, gives a crash sound rather than a tone. 12 1/2 inch mallet. Acquired from the estate of an eclectic collector, and you now know everything I was told about it. It makes a fantastically loud noise, and is a very cool piece to display in your home. I’m sure the suspension rope has been changed over the years, but other than that…very old. See the patina on inside. I did not attempt to polish. Thank you for looking!
